CEF is located at Camp Hope,

83 Lenox Hill Road off Highway 202

in Litchfield, CT

(some GPS may only recognize it as Bantam, CT)

Jjust 1 hour west of Hartford and about one hour north of Bridgeport, CT.

From Bridgeport & South:

Take I-95 to exit 27A. This is Route 8. Take this to exit 38.

Turn left off the exit and go to your 3rd light and take another left onto route 254.

Go to the end (approx 8 miles) and take another left onto route 118.

Go 1 mile to the center of Lichfield where you will see a big white church there you will take a slight left on to Route 202 West.

Take 202 west approximately 3 miles to North Shore Road (one mile past the Toyota dealership).

Take a left on to North Shore Road (there is a corner store at that intersection called THE COVE and across the street is Wamogo High School).

Go 1/2 miles on North Shore Road and you will see two large rock pillars. This is the main entrance to CEF and Camp Hope.

When gates are closed, continue on North Shore Road and your next left will be a dirt road which is the side entrance to the camp.

From Points North or East:

Take I-84 to Route 4 West to Farmington.

Follow Route 4 for about 17 miles (it turns a few times)

Then continue on Route 118 West (for about 7.5 miles) to Route 202 West in Litchfield.

It is about a 45 minute drive from the Route 4 exit on 84 to Litchfield.

You will see a big white Congregational church on your right.

Take a slight left and proceed down Route 202 West approximately 3 miles to North Shore Road (one mile past the Toyota dealership).

Take a left on to North Shore Road (there is a corner store at that intersection called THE COVE and across the street is Wamogo High School).

Go 1/2 miles on North Shore Road and you will see two large rock pillars. This is the main entrance to CEF and Camp Hope.

From Points West:

Take route 202 east through Bantam.

After you pass the IGA in Bantam (on your right),

go approx 2 miles and you will see THE COVE corner store on your right (the road is curving to the left and Wamogo High School is just ahead on your left).

Take a right there onto North Shore Road.

Go 1/2 miles on North Shore Road and you will see two large rock pillars. This is the main entrance to CEF and Camp Hope.

When gates are closed, continue on North Shore Road and your next left will be a dirt road which is the side entrance to the camp.
